1 Lb. frozen cod
Batter:
1 egg
3/4 C. flour
1/2 C. water
1 Tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sesame seed
Mix together. Cut cod fillets into serving sizes. Dip pieces into batter (make sure pieces are dry so batter will stick). Deep fry in 1-inch of oil for 10 to 15 minutes each side or until golden brown. Serves 3 to 4 adults.

2 cups Bread flour (3C)
1/4 cup Prepared Pesto (1/3C)
1/4 cup Sun-dried tomatoes -- softened
chopped (1/3C)
1 tablespoon Sugar (2T)
1 teaspoon Salt (1-1/2ts)
3/4 teaspoon Rapid Rise Yeast (1-1/4ts)
(Large loaf in parentheses).
Prepare regular loaf if your bread machine recipes typically call for 2
cups flour.
Prepare large loaf recipe if they typically call for 3 cups flour.
Measure all ingredients and place in bread machine pan in the
order that the b/m manufacturer suggests.
Select regular bake or rapid bake cycle. Per Slice CAL 80; FAT 2gr.

ANOTHER BEAN SALAD
1 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Vinegar
16 ounces Green beans, can -- drained
16 ounces Yellow beans, can -- drained
16 ounces Lima beans, can -- drained
16 ounces Garbanzo beans, can -- drained
16 ounces Red kidney beans -- drained
1 each Green pepper -- slivered
4 each Celery -- sliced
3 each Onions, medium -- sliced thin
Combine sugar, salt vinegar in pan, bring to boil for 1 min. Cool.
Toss all other ingredients together and pour the vinegar mixture over
them. Marinate for 24 hrs in refrigerator, stirring occasionally.

Almond Macaroons
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 (7 ounce) package almond paste (7 or 8 ounces)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 egg whites
3 dozen blanched whole almonds
Grease cookie sheet. Break almond paste into small pieces in large
bowl. Stir in flour, powdered sugar and almond extract. Add egg
whites. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed about 2 minutes,
scraping bowl occasionally, until smooth.
Place dough in decorating bag fitted with #9 rosette tip. Pipe 1 1/2-
inch cookies about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet. Top each with
almond. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 325º. Bake about 12 minutes or until edges are light
brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool
completely. Store in airtight container.

EGG PUDDING
6 eggs
6 slices of bread
1 tablespoonful of chopped parsley
2 tablespoonfuls of chopped chives
2 tablespoonfuls of butter
1 tablespoonful of flour
1/2 pint of milk
1/2 teaspoonful of salt
1 saltspoonful of white pepper
Break the eggs in a bowl, add all the seasoning. Rub the butter and
flour together, add the milk, stir until boiling, and then add this to
the eggs; beat together until thoroughly mixed. Crumb the bread,
removing the crusts; stir this in at last. Turn into a buttered baking
dish, cover with grated cheese, and bake in the oven until thoroughly
"set" and a nice brown. It makes an exceedingly good, easily digested
luncheon or supper dish for children.

Appetizer Cheese Ball
8 ounces Cream Cheese -- Room Temp.
4 ounces Blue Cheese -- Crumbled
4 ounces Cheddar Cheese -- Shredded
2 teaspoons Mustard -- Dijon-style
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Pecans -- Finely Chopped
2/3 cup Currants
3/4 cup Parsley -- Chopped

Apple Wedges
Place the cream cheese, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, mustard,
Worcestershire, garlic powder, and salt in a mixer bowl and beat at low speed just until well mixed. Stir in the pecans and currants.
Taste and adjust seasoning. Refrigerate the cheese mixture for 30
minutes or until slightly firm, then shape into a ball. Roll in the
chopped parsley to coat well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving. Place on a platter surrounded with crackers and apple wedges.
